In the fall of 2019 I started a tiny publishing company called Tripwire Harlot Press using a print-on-demand service. I mentioned it here right after I’d figured out how to make my first book (now available on Amazon). In the early days of the pandemic we dropped our second book: a compilation of 148 art pieces created by all the theater folks we could dig up.
In November 2022 we dropped an entire series of single-author play collections, which kicked everything up several notches and also kicked my butt. But it was worth it. They are beautiful. Buy them. A second series is currently in the works, as well as a kid’s activity book (!!!) and some other cool stuff.
This whole enterprise is thrilling and time-consuming and terrifying and etc. I don’t know how long it will last or how many publications we’ll make, but so far it’s been a gorgeous distraction.
Wanna get distracted with me?
